While packed with all the familiar features you've come to depend on, these enhanced models boast a few tasty tweaks. The modern Deep-C neck profile has remained unchanged, while the fretboard edges have been freshly rounded off and a special Super-Natural finish has been applied to push the already-astronomical playability even further. Slide down to the cutaway, and you'll instantly notice how smooth it feels, since Fender have even thoughtfully rounded off the heel and four-screw neck plate.

The American Pro II Strat: V-Mod II Single-Coils with Push-Push Function

When it comes to that iconically robust yet famously focused amplified Alnico sound of American Pro Strats, Fender have pushed the proverbial boat out, gracing the face of their latest pro-Strat with a set of three upgraded V-Mod II single-coil pickups with renewed windings. Along with a subtle sonic boost, these upgraded pickups offer the expanded functionality of a push-push volume pot, which can be toggled to combine the single-coil at the bridge and neck, while detailed and finishing touches are provided by a cold-rolled steel tremolo block and brand-new string tree.
